Brett & Bailey win a second Great Taste Award

We're hugely proud to have won another Great Taste Award!

Our Luxury Christmas Pudding, made with figs, Pedro Ximénez sherry and VSOP calvados won a much-coveted gold star from this year's judges at the Guild of Fine Food. 

Made by hand in small batches in our Crystal Palace kitchen, our Luxury Christmas Pudding won praise for its "light texture", "citrus brightness" and being "packed full of fruit". 

Judges also praised our pudding for being "visually striking", "deeply aromatic" and having an enticing Calvados aroma.

What is Great Taste?

Great Taste is the largest and most trusted accreditation scheme for fine food and drink. Established in 1994, it encourages and mentors artisan food producers, offering a unique benchmarking and product evaluation service leading to an independent accreditation that enables small food and drink businesses to compete against supermarket premium own label brands.

Since 1994 over 110,000 products have been assessed. This year 10,000 products were blind-tasted by panels of specialists: top chefs, cookery writers, food critics, restaurateurs and fine food retailers.
